Permanent Total Disability due to accident
The sum insured is paid if the insured person becomes permanently and totally disabled. Their disability must be ongoing without interruption for at least six months and must be due to an accident which occurred while the policy and coverage were in force. The benefit is paid if the disability prevents the insured person from practicing their profession or any other profession or occupation that matches their education, training or experience.
Permanent loss (Partial Disability) due to accident
A percentage of the sum insured is paid, depending on the degree of disability, if the insured person suffers a permanent loss or loss of use of a limb or organ as a result of an accident.
Income Protection (Temporary Total Disability) due to accident
The monthly benefit is paid, provided that satisfactory evidence exists that disability, which must be the result of an accident, happened or occurred while the policy and coverage were in force. The benefit is paid if the disability completely prevents the insured person from practicing the profession practiced when the disability occurred. At the same time, the insured person is not practicing any occupation for remuneration or profit.
Medical expenses for accidents
Real, reasonable and necessary expenses are paid for medical treatment in a hospital or outside a hospital, up to a maximum limit per incident.
Daily hospitalization allowance
If hospitalization is due to an accident, a specified amount is paid every 24 hours of hospitalization, irrespective of the actual costs incurred.
